district-wide singles events have included: a Coffee Hour
with live music at Bethany UMC, a summer Ice-cream Social
at Northwest Hills UMC, and a Saturday service project for
Habitat for Humanity.

If you are interested in representing your church
on the district Singles Council or being nominated for a
2008 council leadership position, please contact us at singles@umcad.org
or simply join us for our next meeting.
We will hold a special meeting to elect our council leaders
for 2008 on Nov. 18 at 2 p.m. at First
United Methodist Church, Austin, in room 107 of the Family
Life Center on the northwest corner of 13th and Lavaca.
Leadership positions will be: President, Ministries Chair,
Events Chair, Communications Chair, and Treasurer.
The District Singles Council meets quarterly at First United
Methodist Church, Austin, in room 107 of the Family Life
Center on the northwest corner of 13th and Lavaca. Future
quarterly council meetings are:
Jan. 6, 2008, 2-4 p.m.
Apr. 6, 2008, 2-4 p.m.
July 13, 2008, 2-4 p.m.
Oct. 5, 2008, 2-4 p.m.
